While on the Bending the Rules press tour in New York, Edge did an interview with Sam Roberts of Sirius Radio. He talks about his career, the Matt Hardy situation, and of course the Hall of Fame. You can see portions of the interview below.

Don’t pretend to think you know Edge. You didn’t grow up with the Rated-R Superstar and his single-parent mother in some cramped apartment in Orangeville. If you really knew Edge, you would have noticed the “black cloud” that hung over the eight-year-old boy after a car accident claimed the life of his most-admired uncle. You would have also seen that cloud give way to the yellow and red-clad form of Hulk Hogan, whose mantra of saying prayers and taking vitamins spoke directly to Edge from the TV. Perhaps then you would have sat eleventh-row ringside with him in Toronto’s SkyDome; it was there he watched Hogan face Ultimate Warrior in the “Ultimate Challenge” at WrestleMania VI, and vowed he would also headline a WrestleMania someday.

To promote the Fatal Four Way match at Over The Limit, WWE.com has put up some photos of past international world champions. I’ve added the pictures of Edge to the gallery.

Captures from Bending the Rules are now up in the gallery! While I obviously can’t put the entire movie up on the site, I am hoping to put video of a few random scenes up once I finally get the video archive going!

As a tie in with the recently released Avengers movie, WWE.com has listed their own ‘super teams’ in the companies history. Edge entered the list as part of the team that went on to face the Nexus in the summer of 2010!
Following the first season of WWE NXT, Wade Barrett immediately formed The Nexus with his fellow Rookies, and took WWE by storm with a brazen attack on John Cena. Daniel Bryan, one of the group’s members, felt remorse for the assault and was unceremoniously dismissed. For more than two months, The Nexus made their presence felt throughout WWE, complaining about the treatment they received on NXT and focusing their attacks on Cena. After refusing offers to join the group, Cena formed a super team of WWE’s best who had all been victims of The Nexus – Edge, Chris Jericho, John Morrison, R-Truth, The Great Khali and WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart. Team WWE was set to face off with The Nexus in a massive Elimination Match at SummerSlam, but the former Rookies eliminated Khali from the equation. Seemingly down a Superstar, John Cena revealed that the final member of Team WWE was none other than the returning Bryan. The contest came down to the two leaders, John Cena and Wade Barrett, who submitted to Cena’s STF – a critical win that halted The Nexus’ momentum in WWE
While I don’t believe there is an official word on this yet, there were QUITE a few tweets tonight stating that the second season of Haven was going to be released on DVD on September 11th, 2012! More information to come!

I’ve added captures from the main documentary portion of You Think You Know Me to the gallery. I’m hoping that this weekend I’ll be able to cap all of the extras as well! If you’ve yet to see this DVD you REALLY need to go and pick it up. One of the best that WWE has offered in years!

WWE.com recently counted down the top 50 greatest tag teams in the companies history. Edge and Christian ranked in at the number one spot on the countdown! Below is the write-up and I’ve also added some photos to the gallery. Note that the photos also contain some from the Rated RKO tag team.
Lifelong best friends, Edge and Christian went from school hallways in Toronto to quite literally climbing the ladder of success in WWE. The pairing undeniably “reeked of awesomeness” – their tongue-in-cheek “five-second poses” and proclamations that “sodas rule” were just earnest enough to earn simultaneous adoration and eye-rolls from the WWE Universe.
With their patented Con-Chair-To, Edge and Christian won seven World Tag Team Championships, the first in a Ladder Match against The Hardys at WrestleMania 2000. They defeated both The Hardys and Dudley Boyz in the first-ever TLC Match at SummerSlam, and were victorious in a rematch at WrestleMania X-Seven – hailed by many as the greatest tag team match in WWE history. The longstanding animosity between the three duos consistently resulted in Edge and Christian supremacy, and solidified the team as not just fun and games, but a bona fide force to be reckoned with.
Edge and Christian were the arrogant jerks you loved to hate, especially as they revolutionized tag team wrestling for generations to come.
Due to a change in Edge’s filming schedule for Haven, his appearance with Resistance Pro has been cancelled. Resistance Pro posted the following on their Facebook page earlier today (Thanks Terri for sending in the info!):
UPDATE: RESISTANCE Pro received an email from Edge just now regarding his upcoming appearance on May 11th at A SMALL DEADLY SPACE. Due to a change in his filming schedule on SyFy’s hit show “Haven”, he will NOT be able to be in attendance on May 11th at Teamster Auditorium. He was scheduled to appear at the event and sign autographs with ALL of the proceeds going to two local charities. He apologized for the inconvenience, but promises to appear at another RESISTANCE Pro event in the VERY near future.
If you are a fan who purchased a ticket to A SMALL DEADLY SPACE in the last 48 hours based on Edge’s appearance, RESISTANCE Pro is offering a refund on your ticket purchase should you elect to do so. Refunds will be issued the day of the show at Teamster Auditorium. RESISTANCE Pro would like to thank Edge for his commitment to the charities he was helping support and we look forward to working with him in the VERY near future.
The other special guests at A SMALL DEADLY SPACE, WWE/WCW legend “The Man They Call” VADER and ECW/WWE/TNA starlet SHELLY “Ariel/Salinas” MARTINEZ are 100% CONFIRMED and WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE on May 11th at Teamster Auditorium. More details regarding the show will be coming this week. Stay tuned and thank you for your understanding!

I’ve finally gotten around to adding a set of photo’s that I’ve been obsessing over for the past week! Back in March when Edge was in NY promoting Bending the Rules, he did a little photo shoot for OnCelebrity.com! Check out these AMAZING photos of Edge in the gallery.

Thanks to Hardish we have 21 new icons up over on our media site! There’s quite a mix there, from older photos to a few Hall of Fame ones!
