Eric Balfour posted a photo of Adam, Eric, and Lucas backstage while filming the new season of Haven onto his Instagram account this morning. Dwight looks a little different this season which leads me to think we may see something new from him this upcoming season!

Jim Ross Blogs about Edge at Califlower Alley Club Reunion

I’ve been meaning to get this up but real life has once again gotten in the way of things. Jim Ross blogged about his time at the Califlower Alley Club Reunion and had the following to say about the award he presented Edge with:

I had the pleasure of presenting Adam Copeland AKA Edge the Male Wrestler Award from CAC in a surprise presentation. Only three people knew of this matter as it was a total surprise to Edge. I followed such powerful and serious presentations as the DDP/Jake the Snake Roberts duo and the late, Paul Bearer/Percy Pringle presentation so I attempted to ad lib my way into a more light hearted mood in what felt like a somber room and rightfully so at that particular time of the evening.

Reading Adam’s resume is really amazing as he’s accomplished and earned an amazing body of work winning over 30 titles in WWE. However, Adam is a much better human being with a kind soul and unwavering character which even surpasses his professional accomplishments inside the ring. The 2012 WWE Hall of Famer is one of my all time favorite signees as we signed him, and Christian, in 1997.

We loved spending time with Adam and his best pal Beth Phoenix in Vegas as Adam prepares for a five month stint of filming the new season of SyFy’s Haven in Nova Scotia, if I’m not mistaken. Adam’s character on Haven has expanded to appear on every episode at this time.

Cauliflower Alley Club Candids and Article

I’ve finally added some candids from last weeks Cauliflower Alley Club reunion courtesy of Slam wrestling. Edge was given an award at the reunion by Jim Ross. A small mention of the awards is posted below, again courtesy of Slam:

Former WWE champion Edge (Adam Copeland) was given an unexpected award. Copeland was scheduled to receive an award from the CAC in 2011, but was sidelined by neck injury, which would eventually lead to him retiring. He came out to this year’s festivities, along with girlfriend Beth Phoenix, on Wednesday afternoon, chipping in on a seminar by his trainer Ron Hutchison.

At the banquet, Jim Ross had the difficult task of surprising Copeland with an award, somehow stumbling through, as he joked, without Vince McMahon’s voice in his ear piece.
“He was an ideal hand,” said Ross, who signed Copeland to a WWE deal in 1997. Ross said that the legend of Edge will continue to grow through the years as people learn to appreciate him even more, “because he was that good.”

Copeland started off his acceptance by saying “my mind is still reeling.” He credited all of his early trainers and influences, including Hutchison, Sweet Daddy Siki, Bret Hart and Leo Burke. He referred to his early days watching wrestling, and how he fell in love with the characters. “They were paiting the canvass printed in my frontal lobe.”

Paparazzi site TMZ caught up with Edge outside of LaGuardia Airport in NY on Tuesday and asked him is opinion about dogs wearing panty hose (yes….seriously).

New Appearance: Calgary Expo

Edge has been added to the Calgary Expo the weekend of April 26th through the 28th. I’m not sure yet if he’s going to be there all of those days or just certain ones yet but I’ll update as soon as I know!

Dolph Ziggler Mentions Edge in Recent Interview

Dolph Ziggler mentioned Edge in a recent interview with ESPN. Below is what he had to say about the Hall of Famer:

“Yeah, I’m still in contact with Lance Storm and Edge. I’m also still in contact with a bunch of guys I used to drive with like Tommy Dreamer and Christian. As we’d ride together, I’d be like: “Yell at me, fill me in with what I’m doing,” and they did and they still help me to this day. Edge will text me at least a kind word back and forth helping me out with some stuff. We got to do a couple of months, just me and him at the live events, and that was such an enormous help. One of my favorite matches of all time was me and Edge at the Rumble a couple of years ago. It was like 25 minutes, and every near fall, the crowd thought it was the end of the match. Man, what a great match. It was so fun to do.”
